Where does calibre store user preferences

Hi,

Where does calibre store user preferences such as email address to send downloaded content etc. I want to make sure the password that is stored for my gmail account is encrypted.

Also if I want to start things from scratch what files should I be removing? I tried removing everthing from my $HOME/Calibre Library and /opt/calibre it still didn't cleanup previous RSS feeds I had setup.

Or is there a way to uninstall and reinstall calibre?

I am running this on Ubuntu platform

Preference: Miscellaneous: Open Calibre Configuration Folder.
Open the Folder, then shut down (Quit) Calibre
You can delete the folder and contents. The library remains intact, even if you delete the Config. Just point Calibre to the existing Library on the next start-up.
