Question Possibility of using the newest charger with older models?

Has anyone attempted using the new USB charger with one of the older Sony models?

I just got a 650, but I still have my 300. I'm wondering if I can pass on my old charger to the person who got my 600 and just use the new charger with both...

(And just to be clear, I don't have the new charger yet or I'd test it myself!)

As I understand it, the new 350/650 AC inputs are completely different from the old 300 ones.

If you get a USB to barrel-type charger cable, that fits the pervious models, then yes, it would be doable (I used one such cable with my Sonr PRS-300 and an Apple iPod USB charger).
