Kindle font problem with EPUB to mobi conversion
I converted an EPUB using KindleGen. My

is defined as {font-style:normal}.
However, Kindle is having problems with typeface display. If I go to "Typeface" and select: -"regular" (which should show a serif font) I get sans-serif (BAD) -"condensed" it shows serif condensed (OK) -"sans-serif" it shows sans-serif (OK) So "regular" and "sans serif" both show the same font: sans serif. With "regular" it should show serif, but it doesn't. Other books on my Kindle don't have this problem. Has anyone encountered this issue before? |

You don't actually need do define a font-style unless it's other then normal. Try removing all instances of font-style: normal and see what happens.
