where is the list of libraries kept?

I've got a pretty large collection of books and have organized them into multiple "libraries".

I know about the metadata.db sqlite file in the individual libraries, but is there similar to track each library and the properties?

libraries have no properties other than their name. A list of recently used libraries in the GUI is kept in the calibre configuration folder.

Yeah, with some help I found it...

/Users/<username>/Library/Preferences/calibre/gui.json

There appear to be some other parms associated with the entries, but I'll sort those out later

The integer after the library name is the number of times it's been opened.
