Unhappy HardDrive Power Pins

I broke my portable hard drive a few weeks ago ( actually my girlfriend dropped it) and i lost all my books (gutted) so i spent a few weeks collecting them again and getting them in order.
i was about to make a backup but my burner is broken (my baby put a rusk in it) so i took out my internal hd where my collection is now so i could take it to my mates and make a back up there (to lose it once is gutting but twice there are no words lol) and my daughter picked it up and dropped it

Now i can't make a back up at all because one of the power pins at the back has fallen out. and when it plugged in it won't power up.

What do i do?

the websites say i need to solder it back on but would it be easier just to take it to a shop let them do it?

It would be easier to take it to a shop t let them fix it. That way if they mess it up, they are responsible.

They're less likely to mess it up too, unless you happen to have the kit to do the work, and some experience to go with it.

I've done a fairly large amount of soldiering in my time, and I wouldn't try soldiering a pin back in on my own. ... Granted, I'd probably just replace the whole plug myself instead.
