How to flip pages vertically in the reader?

I am using Calibre to read ebooks on my pc and in the reader when i press spacebar it flips the pages horizontally. Is there a way to change that, so when i press the spacebar to flip pages vertically?

No. But you can scroll vertically. Toggle page/scroll mode (press yellow scroll top right) and use arrow keys. Space still flip horizontally.

Or you can flip the monitor 90 degrees. But that may make it difficult to read.

Yes, it seems i can flip pages vertically with the mouse wheel, but with the spacebar that is not possible. I hope this is implemented in future updates. It should be a default behavior.

Space seems to scroll vertically for me, here's the settings I think are relevant:

You have to have a portrait oriented window; i.e. its width must be less than its height, which means it can't be full screen on a regular landscape monitor.

Thanks, that worked. And i actually had to only set 'page flip duration' to 'disabled'.
