Weird conversion failure

Folks,

Calibre works great, no hitches, on my XP Windows machine.

But on my Mac PowerPC, running Leopard OSX, I get the following type of failure notice, no matter what the file:

ERROR: Conversion Error: <b>Failed</b>: Convert book 1 of 1 (Soldier's Prayer)

Follow the instructions at the bottom of the error message, i.e. convert your rtf to html and then convert the html in calibre.
