If the screen is really glossy it can be a factory applied peel off protective film. With that peeled off the screen has an original appearance.

test if functional with tape
Sorry to necrobumping, but nobody says next trick.
I was scare to apply glue to light guide as touch wasn't working, despite everybody says that it must work after applying glue. So I just put some tape at each side and it worked perfectly. Finally I prefer to use just tape as whenever I need to open the ebook again there will be less risk to break the screen because of pulling bezel to hard because of the glue. Ah and what's said in this thread applies to kobo aura hd too(as mine is). So I don't know if this thread could be in general kobo forum. Anyway Thank you all |
