onix device that save PDF's note into the file
Hi guys,
someone may give me an andvice about an onix boox device that: 1) Save pdf's note and highlights into the file so if i need i can read the file into my mac with notes and highlights 2) Possibility to read pdf in landscape mode (so, for me also a small device like 6' is good) Better if the device is not very expansive: i'm wainting max carta 2 so, but meantime, i need a more economic device. |

What you're looking for seems to depend more on the reading software than on the particular device. You could try ezPDF Reader, that one saves comments right into the pdf file. Works reasonably well on my T68, only complaint would be that the touchscreen isn't super accurate so typing longer bits on the on screen keyboards is a bit cumbersome because you may mistype more than you're used to.
For screen rotation, there are a number of apps on the playstore, just look for "rotate screen". Hope this helps. |

Onyx M92 can export highlights to a text file and merge scribbles with the PDF document. It runs Linux. Look on ebay or ask in the flea market section.

Ty for yours reply,
in fact saving highlight and note into the pdf file is something about the software, but for example, last month i buy an Energy system ereader pro hd, download adobe acrobat reader, and a software for landscape mode; software works great but the ereader refresh screen every 10 sec and no way to block it. So this software into that hardware, for me, is not usable. So i'd like to know if someone have experience in save highlight and note into the pdf file in landscape mode. Ty very much again |

But if the matter is writing, try Graffiti. I am using it to write this text - I almost only use Graffiti on mobility. Absolute screen position of the taps is irrelevant with gestures. |

Repligo is much better in annotating PDFs than ezPDF. Its way smaller, faster and simpler. It can even highlight in reflow mode. Dont know why it went out of market. Its a standard on blackberry.

And yes, any such app can be used on a onyx device. For typing, use an OTG keyboard if the device does not have a bluetooth.
