Mobileread acting up ....
Hi there ... I'm using MR in Aus and it's definitely not working as it should be.
The pages are filling by degrees - not matter what sub-forum/thread, and taking a while ish to load a complete page. Are you doing work on MR currently? Edit None of the other programs that I am using are different to normal, just MR |

I've had that happen now and again. *Sometimes* clearing out my browser cache helps.

I haven't noticed any problems in my location. Are many members experiencing this problem? Are you having problems only with loading MobileRead pages?

Sounds like a routing problem between MR and you. It's fine for me in the UK.

If the problem persists, you might try visiting the site from a different browser, or a different computer. Alternatively, try it with your normal browser in safe mode (without any add-ons or plug-ins enabled).
If the problem then goes away, that will at least tell you that the fault is local to your system. If it doesn't, then it suggests that it's a routing issue, as Harry mentioned. Mike |

Thanks everyone for posting
I found the way that the MR program was acting a bit perplexing, but one thing I identified as unusual was that in the Deals and Freebies sub-forum the usual top order is Kobobooks first and then Hello all you newbies. Well, the order was reversed and Hello newbies was first. It's righted itself today, all working fine, and Kobobooks is first again in that sub-forum. |

Yesterday, I was seeing intermittent load problems on MR and a few others.
It is possible, the Tornado damage in the Midwest did affect the Internet routing |

Is that a cat in a flower pot in your avatar? Are you growing felines in your garden?
