series and meta data

Is it possible to add meta tags in a epub which Calibre will recognize as being the series? In that way I could add those while creating the epub in e.g. Sigil and would not have to do it manually later in Calibre.

yes, save an epub file with a series from calibre, open it and look at how calibre sets the series. Use the same technique in your own epubs.

Hmm, I actually did that but did not see anything. Will try on some other epubs...
