Which Kobo WiFi do you have, N647, N647B, or 289? Once we know that we can send you the correct file so you can write the image file onto the internal SD card.

I tried to flash your image @davidfor but it is larger then mine is? mine is only 1.31 gb while yours is 1.81 gb. I have a N647B wifi I believe. Do you or anyone else know what is up? I was able to flash my old image back on so I dont think that is the issue.

What size card do you have? It should be a 2GB card. If so, the image should fit. The difference between them is probably compression and how empty space is used.

Or, did you just take an image of the partition visible when you are connected to the PC? If so, that won't work. You need to take the card out of the device and write the image directly to the card.
