Changing fonts

I've noticed that with 2016.07 (and possibly some previous versions) if a font is declared in the CSS of an EPUB and that font exists on the reader it is only possible to select another font by de-selecting "use embedded styles". De-selecting "use embedded fonts" does not work (it may do if the font is actually embedded in the document but I don't have any EPUBS with embedded fonts to try it on).

This is quite an annoyance as having to deselect embedded styles upsets many other settings such as paragraph indents and spacing.

Is this intentional ? I may be wrong but I thought that a previous version would allow changing fonts.

This is on the Android version - I haven't checked things yet on Kobo.

The behaviour should be consistent across different platforms. You can change that with:

Style tweaks → Ignore publisher font families

The style tweak works beautifully. It's a problem getting to know all the ways you can set up KOReader to get things working the way you are comfortable with.

Thanks for the rapid response.
