How to have images when exporting a sub-files?
I have an ebook whose chapters have different units in separate sub-files: opening images, chapter names and contents, and I want to split this ebook into multiple standalone files. I can use merge with the xhtml files, but how to have the opening image in each file too?

Hi,
depending on the internal structure of your ebook you can merge everything in one file, then have a look at the coding to identify your chapter images as well as your chapter headings, insert a split marker and afterwards split the whole file. But this heavily depends on how your source is structured, you need to have the ability to identify the relevant objects. An example would be helpful. Best Regards Maui |

This is the code after merging all the html files and split it into correct unified chapters. Can you see where I can add the image files in? Thanks
Code:
<p class="calibre31"><img alt="image" src="../Images/00013.jpg" class="calibre16"/></p> <div class="calibre32"></div> <h2 class="calibre13" id="calibre_pb_58"><span class="calibre10"><span class="bold"><span><span class="bold">CHAPTER TITLE</span></span></span></span></h2> <div class="calibre32"></div> <p class="calibre8"><span class="calibre12"><span class="bold"><span><span class="italic">Chapter subtitle</span></span></span></span></p> <div class="calibre28"></div> <div class="calibre1"> </div> <div class="mbppagebreak" id="calibre_pb_59"></div> <p class="calibre33"> </p> Contents |
