calibre and kindle emailing

I have been using calibre with my kindle keyboard for almost a year and have been successfully emailing myself books from the beginning. BUT over the last few weeks calibre seems to be unable to send emails to my kindle.
I havent changed any settings, preferences or virus/firewall software on my computer and am very confused. I have tried using different email addresses in claibre (yahoo & hotmail & gmail) but no luck.

When i tell calibre to email a book to my @free.kindle.com address the job completes "successfully" with a big green tick but no book arrives.

I can email books to my kindle using my webmail directly with no problems.

please help as this is really frustrating me =[

never mind its working now after updating to the latest version... bizarre but true =]
