The point made was that the screens based on transflexive LCD's are not that cheap, which is still entirely true, and impacts the price of new devices. The second hand price really isn't at all relevant.
I don't understand why you feel the need to be that aggressive over a comment, bluntly. Also, free hint, I'm dyslexic and don't allways get spelling, especially that concerned with vowels, correct. (And Firefox 3.5 absolutely refuses to work with a spellchecker which was fine with 2.0, sigh) |

Technically that's still a reflective LCD. Transflective screens have an special layer that acts as a reflector in bright light while still allowing light to pass thru from the backlight.
