How to find underlying News URLs?

Anyone know how to identify the actual URLs Calibre is using to retrieve its News? For instance, where is it sourcing its daily copy of Britain's The Guardian and Observer?

I think you would have to look at the source code for that particular recipe to find out what URL is being used. Recipes are written in python which is normally readable by the average user without specialist programmingg expertise.

  1. Go to Fetch News - Add a custom news source
  2. Choose Customize builtin recipe of the recipe your curious about
  3. The recipe will be added to your list of available user recipes
  4. Select The Guardian and Observer from the list of available user recipes
  5. Switch to advanced mode and scroll through the code

The urls are usually listed as feeds or as a base URL.
