That's a price for pre-order and pre-order must be made no later than March 7th.
Their regular price is 14,390THB which is roughly equivalent to 374 euro. price included postage within Thailand. Sadly they have only the model without front light up for pre-order. Last edited by chompop; 03-02-2016 at 03:52 PM. Reason: correct typo |

Hello,
Also the Price for Booxtor is a preorder. I hope it will not change a raise after the item is in stock. |

In France, the tax is 20 % and called "TVA" : http://www.economie.gouv.fr/cedef/ta...ion-europeenne, for Booxtor it's 19 %, you could find the details here : http://ec.europa.eu/taxation_customs...t_rates_fr.pdf Last edited by Randy11; 03-03-2016 at 04:14 AM. |

So there are NO INDIRECT TAXES and not IMPORT DUTIES in Thailand for something coming from China to Thailand and that is the reason why in Thailand is 20% cheaper for Thailand citizens. Sorry but I do not understand your reasons. I have said that in Thai is 349 for Thai citizens Thailand tax included if any (it is the final price as far as I understood and there are no additional taxes) and in Europe (in booxtor store to be specific) 415 with the 20% of overprice. Did I forgot anything? By the way you do not need to explain me the indirect tax in Europe, because I am from Spain and here the indirect tax is 21%. If you want to know the right reason of the overprice (which is evident) you should ask to the seller who sells this in Europe. I have a Onyx M90 bought in artatech and when ereader-store came I was very glad to see a competitor selling this ebook. But now artatech has gone and ereader-store can sells this ebook at whatever price they want, there is not another way to buy this ebook in europe as far as I know. If there is any other place tell me please, I want yo know it. Best regards, Espinosa00011 |

OK I see what you mean.
But without the tax, the price of Booxtor's shop is the 349 €, like in Thailand. The benefits for both vendor seems for me the same. Maybe, I miss something and I appreciate any explication. |

The explaination is that the price without tax in Thailand is lower than here. Bcause in Thailand 349 included the taxes if any.
And I do not know the reason, it can be greater import duties in Europe, or greater profit of the seller here in Europe or that in Thailand they get a lower price because they buy more units from the manufacturer. Anyway if you know another place where to buy two units of N96ML, I will apreciate the information. I was thinking on spending 390 euro in each unit. But ... Of course I will not buy yet I want to wait and see opinions of early buyers. Best regards, espinosa00011 |

I see. The question is about a tax in Thailand.
First, be careful, some sites put the price without any tax and the tax is calculated only when you make the order : bad surprise ! It's the case for the German vendor http://shop.sundtek.com/ Only by curiosity, I've searched the Thailand's tax : http://thailand.angloinfo.com/money/general-taxes/, http://www.pwc.com/th/en/tax/assets/...12-booklet.pdf . If you don't make exportation, the tax is 7 % or 10 %. Quote:

I suppose google translate is correct and 349 euro is the final price in Thailand. So between 7 and 10% cheaper (before tax) in Thailand if your answer is right and the tax there is 7 or 10%
Just one question, do you have any professional relationship with ereader-store.de? It seem so for your answers, you are very interested in defending this store. Best regards, espinosa00011. Last edited by espinosa00011; 03-03-2016 at 03:32 PM. |

I answer my own question. In this page you have the stores all around the world: http://www.onyx-international.com/in...11-19-03-40-07 We have tagus in Spain. And another store in Holland : http://www.e-readerweb.nl/ The store from Holland seems really interesting but it has not a page in English and I will need to spend time in investigating. The different models of M96 are present. Last edited by espinosa00011; 03-03-2016 at 01:12 PM. |

But the questions about the difference between European prices and no European prices was already asked for old models. Some people outside Europe have made the error to look at the European prices with the VAT. After you have the cost of shipping ... I'm only interested in understand the prices and choose a good vendor. To be more precise, we have discussed about the local tax, but not about the tax for importation applied to the vendor. Thailand and Germany (or Europe) have this type of tax. There is the question of the rate change between euro and dollar, same thing for the Thailand. Maybe an other reason in the difference between the prices. I think that the subject is difficult. I'm following you in your research for the best price ;-) Best regards, Randy11 Last edited by Randy11; 03-03-2016 at 05:13 PM. |

I will never buy in Thailand an ebook, the more expensive thing I buy outside Europe is 100 or 150 euro and this last figure was once and I assume I have not normally any warranty in the item. I bought a gps in USA once and I had to send the item back to USA to get the warranty even there was a distributor of the gps in Spain. They told me that they do not support a gps bought outside of Spain. Just I noticed that it is cheaper there in Thailand even tax excluded. Do not worry if I get I reply from the netherland store I will post. I saw a catalog of Onyx products more complete than ereader-store. They do not list the N96ML or 13.3 model, but the reason can be that they do not try to sell what they do not have yet. See you here. Hi Espinosa00011,
Just a little warning, but I'm not sure that is still true. You could find here some very old posts (maybe older than two years), about the vendors and the prices. Some vendors doesn't sell the same thing even if the name was the same or near. There was some differences between the models for the hardware or/and the software. You can observe this situation in the Russian market. It's probably because Onyx makes some special devices when someone ask for 1 000 pieces or more. You are right, it could be more simple to stay in the European market when there is a problem and take care how to use the warranty. Your experience with your GPS is bad I'm interested in to see the catalogue (and the prices ) of others vendors. Have a nice day Randy11 |
