Does anyone happen to know whether epub readers support

Code:

writing-mode: vertical-rl;

This is used on the web for vertical Chinese (and also people playing with English type). Most web Chinese is horizontal these days, but vertical is fun now and again.

I've never seen a vertical Chinese epub, can anyone point one out before I try to make one?

The only answer was a vertical Japanese language book.

It works at least in Foliate, the only epub reader I've tried it in so far.

You can do vertical Chinese and Japanese with both a Kobo and a Kindle.

Brilliant. I'll have to try it with a long text to see how it handles it. The vertical Japanese epub of Kokoro from that other thread is flawed in my limited tests so far, though initially it looked good until it went askew. Old file though, and perhaps other epub readers will present it well.

Later Kindles that support azw3 minimum. Not sure if the older ones with azw3 support add later work.
