The Apps

With the recent announcement of the Kobo App supporting Audiobooks I thought it might be useful to list what capabilities are available across each platform. If this helps just one person great...feel free to correct if I've made errors

The Basics

Your Library Website - Usually needs a card number and a PIN code. You can read in a browser and initiate downloads to mobile devices and PCs/Macs. If you are lucky enough, you can have multiple libraries (work and home locations for example)

PC/Macs

Overdrive App or Adobe Digital Editions - Need an Overdrive account and/or Adobe account to authorize the desktop. On a MAC you need Overdrive for audiobooks and Adobe Digital Editions for eBooks

Mobile Devices

Overdrive/Libby/Kobo Apps

Overdrive - Supports multiple libraries for both ebooks and audiobooks.

Libby - Seems to be the replacement for Overdrive. Has the same capabilities but can also be used indirectly to support multiple libraries on the Kobo Aura One

Kobo App - Supports the syncing of Overdrive ebooks but not library audiobooks. Will also sync with multiple libraries similar to Libby

eReaders

Kobo Aura One - Can support multiple libraries if same overdrive account is used within Libby. Doesn't support audiobooks.

Kobo H20 (maybe others) - If configured with the same account as the Aura One will sync the same ebooks. Doesn't support audiobooks

Now just to recap, in the worst case examples above you need multiple cards/pins/Overdrive account/Adobe account/Kobo account/2 Desktop apps/ 3 Mobile apps/2 eReaders but once you figured it out...you can start reading!
