License agreement for the Nook Touch
Was anyone forced to agree to the terms & conditions, or was that just for me?

Yeah, it was a standard shrinkwrap agreement. I think to get out of the setup process, everyone will have to unless they bypass the setup altogether. I've seen a few folks mention that, but I don't know if anyone has tried.

I like how they ask you to READ and agree to it, and then you look at the page count and it's 178 (!) pages or so. Not my idea of the first book to curl up in front of a fire...

B&N requires you to register your Nook with them. The last step is either signing into or creating a B&N account. The agreement looks to be the same as on their website for using the online store.
