kindle sighting
we were at disneyland for the 4th, and someone in a group of people pulled out their kindle to show it around. they seemed like a well informed bunch and were really interested, and one of the waiters seemed pretty interested, too

Amusement parks are a good place for ebook readers. All those long lines for rides (except the wet ones).

I travel alot and would love to see more travel book, I know we usually pack two or three books around the parks with us for quick reference.

I guess they're becoming more noticeable. I just had someone tell me, "Hey, I saw someone with one of those last night!"

That depends. A gal could just carry an extra spacious purse and have the Kindle with her. It wouldn't get any more broken than other items in the purse. I can see where it might be harder for a guy, though .....

When at an amusement park, most guys I know, end up giving me their crap, I mean "stuff" to put in my purse anyway.

My kindle fits in my small pack, which is what I always take to parks. I also take a few ziplocks along to put the important stuff in for the wet rides (like my camera and such).
