standalone global notes-function
Can I create a 'note(s)' option that is not tied to a specific book? I created custom columns for all kinds of categories for my books. But I'd like to know if there is a way I can create a global note. To write anything. Reminders, scribbles etc.? As I said nothing that's tied to any specific book.
Thanks |

No, calibre's database is book centric. I woudl suggest you simply create an empty book and use it for storing notes.
