Taken by Robert Crais
This is a detective mystery. It is written past forward, with present slipped in here and there. I really enjoyed it.
If you have read Taken, what did you think? |

Finished it recently. A 4.5 star read for me. Elvis and Joe do it for me every time. This was pretty gritty and violent, so right up my street .

Oh bum....
That confused me for a moment - they're Elvis novels with Joe Pike in 'em aren't they - apart from I think one which is with Pike as the main man ?
Or is that the Angel guy..... no, hang on, that's Parker..... no, hang on.... who's Hawk.... oh bugger, have to visit my shelves and probably Wiki as well . Got meself in a right state now, and only finished one, about one of them, a few weeks ago..... Age has withered me............. |

This is one of my favorite series. I enjoyed Taken, but the very best of the series is L.A. Requiem. |
