Deleting an application

Got an Ipad today and am playing around with it . How do you delete an application that you downloaded (audio books ) which you dont want

Hold your finger on the icon until the icon starts jiggling. Once it starts jiggling, you'll see a little x in the upper left corner. Tap the little x to delete. When you're done, tap the home button to stop the jiggling apps.

If you're accessing them through the iPod app I think the only way is to remove them from you pc's iTunes program and sync your iPad.

Thanks it did the trick . Its a shame that the manual is all on line . It would have been good to have a very small booklet besides the tiny startup page.

you can download the manuals into iBooks, they are in the store under free books
