Take care - any Kindle 2 is now going to be between 3 and 4 years old, and the battery could be starting to seriously lose capacity. On average, the type of battery that the K2 uses will have lost between about a third and a half of its original capacity after three years, but some will be a lot worse.

Might be safer to buy a K3 instead?

I have a Kindle 2 - International Edition - with an expensive full leather cover ($105). I actually have two of these covers - one black and one brown. The brown one has never been used, except to put it on the Kindle 2 to see how it looks.

I haven't used it very much at all - about 6 months, and then I purchased a Kindle 3 International Edition. The Kindle 2 is in perfect condition.

I'll be coming to the U.S. on December 21. I was thinking of bringing it with me, anyway, in order to more easily ship it.
