This code ends today, by the way.

According to another thread, Kobo is very poor on customer service, however. Here's hoping they can improve on that as they continue to experience (or long for) growth.

Bad customer service seems to run rampant these days - it doesn't help that Amazon has english speaking reps who call you within seconds, as a standard against which others are now being measured.

I've found fictionwise can either respond right way or seemingly ignore you for days (or weeks) while they try to find an answer (please, is sending a quick 'we need to research this further' msg that difficult?). I haven't had to contact Kobo (all my books there have had pages, but I've run into problems at most other sites, eventually).

I'm not sure what book to buy. I've never had such a problem!

I've had a couple of issues with Kobo and every time they have been responsive and solved the problem. Mind you, my problems were with the iPhone and not my Sony.

I put in an issue on an eBook I purchased (from Kobo) in October 2009 and they responded 2 days later and the issue was sorted by refunding the purchase price. That's not poor service.
