I don't read his type of science fiction, but I certainly do wish him a speedy recovery.

I echo what Zelda said about his copyright work (and she put me on to those particular and opinion changing essays). Seen people go through this and he should get through fine, and feel a hundred percent better afterwards. Best of luck to Eric and here's hoping for a speedy recovery

I felt instantly better after I had my stent put in my cardiac artery. Now I just have to find a way to pay the hospital bills.

Many of you above referred to this, but for those who don't know Eric's body of work.
As the 'editor' of Baen's free library, he has been one of the earliest and most vocal proponents of DRM-free ebooks, and is one of the driving forces behind the marketing concept of providing free back-list books in order to hook future customers. See: http://www.baen.com/library/ for over seventy free books. |

I was tuckerised in Eric Flint's book "Time Spike". If you've read it the character with my name is nothing like me at all.
I like lots of his books so I'm hoping he recovers quickly and writes many more. |
