PRS-T1 Rooted and I click the RESET button then Crashed.

Somebody heeeeeeelp me

Things are like this: I rooted my device several days ago and it worked smoothly. Today when I set the ACCOUNTS&SYNC option, it crashed and it doesn't work with the HOME button and the POWER button, even tried to hold the power button for a few seconds, but still in vain. At last, i clicked the reset button on the bottom, and it stopped flashing screen. But after that, most of my apps shows "sorry! ...has stopped unexpectedly..." , namely Latin keyboard, Anysoft keyboard, Dropbox, ColorDict, epubReader.

I am wondering if I have to use the Rescue Set to recovery my device?

er.. finally i use the Restore Package in the Wiki page to undo the root... and it seems ok now.

Maybe someone should add a warning to the wiki. My device crashed, too, after clicking the accounts/sync options.

Hi there,

I had the same problem - reverting back to to the restore package and then re-installing the root version DID NOT fix anything.

I did eventually get it working though - rather than adding accounts through the settings page, you just need to add google market using the instructions under "Android Market Procedure" on the PRS-T1 page.

Once the market is added, you can then add accounts to it that way.

If all else fails, just add apps directly using the .apk files.
