Help: Issue w/ Onyx Boox Note 2 Stock Dictionary App

Hello all,

I just got my Onyx Boox Note 2 (v. 2.3.1) and when I was setting up my files, I accidentally deleted the .onyxdict file. Now, the stock, in-app dictionary is not working. It is stuck with "load failed" when flashing the definitions and crashes whenever I try to open it from the Applications menu. I already placed a stardict dictionary and even did a full reset, but to no avail.

I already sent my feedback few days ago, but has yet to hear from Onyx team's end.

I hope someone could help out here. I think I only need to load the deleted file, but I can't find any .apk version of the dictionary.

Thank you so much. Hoping for everyone's safety!

@keynoread Where did the file reside? I'll try and locate it on my Note Pro 2.3.1

It might have been in "Storage/Android/data/com.onyx.dict" or in "Storage/dicts."

Thank you so much, Markismus. Appreciate it a lot.

Hey, Markismus.

I figured it out. I just deleted all folders related to the onyxdict app ("com.onyxd..." and the "dicts" storage folder) and reloaded it again. It's working now.

Thanks!
