Goodbye, Christopher Priest.

The great novelist and science fiction writer died Feb. 02.

Time to reacquaint myself with his work, which I read years ago. I remember reading The Space Machine: A Scientific Romance, and (I think) The Inverted World.

Time to visit some delusional alternate realities...

Another author I'm going to miss. I liked The Inverted World and The Space Machine plus a couple of short story collections.

I loved The Prestige and The Separation, and enjoyed a lot of his other books. A sad loss, although I hadn't realised he was 80.

Never heard of him. I will have to check him out.

My library has several of his books, I think my husband would like his writing.

I have read and loved The Prestige and The Separation. A Dream of Wessex did nothing for me. I must get hold of more of his books.
