Looking for Audio adapter USB-C to AUDIO / earphone - BOOX Nova Pro

Hi

I am looking for an audio adapter compatible with Boox Nova Pro.
Adapter "USB-C" -> to Female jack for "earphone".


Something like that:


- For "Onyx Nova Pro".
- Do you already have any experience?
- If possible, on Amazon shop please
* Quietly combined Audio + Charger.

My guess is that none of them will work. I could be mistaken, but I seem to recall reading that there is no USB host controller on these Onyx devices so you cannot simply hook up an external keyboard, speakers, USB stick etc through the USB port and have them work. Instead, you need to connect via Bluetooth.

- Yes, I understand, but I do not want to use the USB (comunication) port but that the AUDIO. Nothing to do with OTG

I concur with the previous answer. My understanding is that USB is for power only. I haven't gotten any kind of USB device to be recognized. I'd be very surprised if an audio adapter worked. That video is pretty sketchy. He doesn't actually demonstrate it working.

As mentioned above, you need to get hold of a simply passive adaptor that doesn't have a DAC. The problem is that nobody seems to specifically say if their adaptor is passive or active, so it can be tricky to know.

From what I can tell the Pixel seems to require a DAC, so I looked for adaptors that specifically say they do not work with the Pixel. There seems to be lots of those, so I would assume that any of those will work with the Nova (Don't quote me on that though!).

Thanks TheFifth999, it helped me. I have a pixel phone, and the usb-c adapter for that doesn't work with the note pro. Now I know why, and can look for a passive one
