Hyphenation trouble

Hi,

I have noticed that my Aura HD seems to hyphenate and break the words at the end of a line only if I set alignment to justified. If I leave the alignment to off, even if a paragraph is justified by a CSS rule, no word is ever hyphenated and the line can be filled with a lot of ugly spaces to obtain the justification.

I am using 2.5.2 with Kepubs (both from Kobo store and Calibre Extended Driver).

Is this a known behaviour, is it a bug or somehow a feature?

I asked Kobo support and they told me that it hypehantion is dependant on book formatting (doh!), but I don't understand why forcing a justified alignment result in a correct hyphenation...
