Kobo Aura v2 not starting
Hello,

I bought a second hand (looking like new). It arrived bricked I think. When i press the button, sometimes nothing happens, sometimes the light will come up for a few seconds and the screen will flash black and white twice. I got a SD image from here and flashed that, still the same thing. Anyone knows whats wrong here?

Do you had try to connect the device USB to charge it and press the On button until the red light blinks?

To the computer? I pressed the on button for about a minute, nothing happened.
(I charged the Kobo for several hours with a wall charger)

jcn363 was suggesting you try a factory reset. The full instructions for the Aura Second Edition are https://wiki.mobileread.com/wiki/Kob...Aura_Edition_2. You will need to follow the second set of instructions.

I tried that before/after the sd card image. But never got a red light coming up.
Only a white light and two times a flashing screen after, then blank.

Ok, maybe some progress. When I connect the usb cable to pc and press the on button on the Kobo, I hear the computer make a sound of a new device, after a few seconds a sound of disconnecting. Nothing comes up in "my computer".
