motion computing LE 1600
Last week I picked up one of these used for about $300 after tax......it's a bit dated (5 years) but for reading it's great. I spent a bit of time yesterday clearing up a few little things...service pack 3, just little things like that and last night I was trying it out with some comics and magazine Pdf's
It's really good, a few things I noticed different from my asus T91 were that you can only use the stylus (it's a wacom screen) but after a half hour that was no big deal...I do prefer windows7 but for reading you don't really need it. The HD is small...30 GB but It take SD, I had to install sp3 for it to read more than 2GB. Sd cards are so cheap now so the harddrive is no big deal. The nice thing though is the screen......12.1 inches...nice and tough and you get quite a nice picture too, that really really fine print in some magazines wasn't perfect but still quite readable. Comics look great with it too I'm quite pleased with this tablet.....and considering just a few years ago they cost a lot the price is well worth it |

I forgot to mention it's light for it's size...it's a few pounds I suppose, a bit heavier than my asus but not much....it's quite manageble
