But, that's your call--to each their own. You can use clips in Sigil or any other decent HTML editor to do the same thing--I used to do mine in NoteTAB Pro, (which has a fantastic clip functionality and library) before Toxaris came up with his splended Word plugin. Hitch |

Suggestion : incorporate the proselint writing style checker ==>> proselint, in a similar manner as Doitsu has it in his Sigil plugin.
It overlaps with Word's Style checking rules, but its list presentation and hints are a significant improvement over what Word provides. added: And on large documents I am getting Dialogue Check glitches - as reported previously by myself, Tex2002ans, and others - damn you MS. I meant to add, you know that weirdness I have with the settings box being completely blank? So too does Tex2002ans. It's not just me. Hitch |

Tox,
do you have your Epub Tools in a portable format? My school's computers restrict installing of your MSI file, but it lets me install stuff I find in PortableApps.com or lets me install Gimp, if I choose to install just for myself. |

Good news, I think, for me at least.
Over the past several days I've used the Dialogue Checker on several books - the previously reported performance issues appear to have gone. Microsoft® Word for Microsoft 365 MSO (16.0.13231.20250) 64-bit BR |

I can't process a word document. It "hangs" on Convert to HTML.
I've done the OCR check. The document is processed and the proper tags were added like [scbreak]. But when I press "Convert To HTML" a message shows up "Document is not saved". Obviously, I did save the document before. Saving the document under a new/different name and then processing it produced the same message. MSWord 2021/MS Office 365 Word (latest version: 16.0.15225.20204, up to date, and in "offline mode" on W11, x64) I have solved the above error message: don't save your document in OneDrive (or other cloud storage solution) save it locally, i.e. on the desktop. The plugin doesn't handle list properly: when processed to html it outputs gibberish text. Last edited by Anak; 05-29-2022 at 12:48 PM. |

Working on something via cloud storage is usually a recipe for disaster.

So, years ago, I set up a Windows VM where I have Word+EPUBTools + a few other tools I use. I transfer the books to the VM, run my stuff, then transfer the file back. This way, if the Settings ever glitches, I could just easily reset the VM back to the original, working install. |
