Auto Convert of eBook via web console

Is there a way to set ebooks, when uploaded via the web server, to auto convert to a specific format? I have the output set to azw3 via Preferences->Behavior->Default output format and I have the checkbox ticked in Adding books > Adding actions > Automatically convert added books to the current output format. It looks like this only works for books added via the GUI interface and not the web server console.

If my assumption is correct, is there a way to script a convert all periodically?

I apologize if this has been covered in the forums. I searched to no avail.

Not a problem, I can run a book conversion from the GUI periodically.

Nice to see what is on your ToDo list, even though there is nothing that interests me particularly.

Is it the full list?

Not even close, that's just the TODO list for the server, a relatively small part of calibre.
