PW3 PW3-4, PW3-32, fw-5.8.9.0.1 software jailbreak

All methods listed for PW3 have been attempted:
update_pw3_factory_5.8.9.0.1.bin
update_kindle_all_new_paperwhite_5.8.9.bin
update_PW3_5.7.4_initial.bin

In all cases the Update Kindle selection only briefly flashes black and then grays out. .bin files disappear from root.

Files are in fact placed in the root directory.

None of the things you have tried has: 5.9.5.1 in their title.
What made you think they would work?

If you had to just try things, thinking that you can't trust us to keep the information correct, why in the world would you trust anything you read or get from this site?
Don't you think it is more than a little bit foolish to trust your device to things you get from a site where you can't even trust the titles?

Which brings to mind another point which fails to compute ...
Our only way to answer any of your questions is to write that answer in a post that you must read.
But we already wrote those things in posts that you read and ignored.

5. No pass code/ parental protections
6. Sold and delivered in India
7. How do I add apps to this once jailbroken

Hello, I also have a White Paperwhite 3 running 8.9.0.1 connected briefly to register it and put it in airplane mode. serial is G090 KB03 xxxx xxxx. May have been refurb or customer return. No ads. Can you please send me the files and a link for this special case of possible jailbreak. Thanks.

This only works on a PW3 that is running 5.8.9.0.1 firmware version as shipped from the factory.

I have bought the PW3 from a refurbisher. As far as I know it came this way from the factory. I have searched google for update_pw3_factory_5.8.9.0.1.bin and I haven't been able to find a good link. Please PM me a link. It does not have special offers. I have registered it. It was bought in the US. IF I brick or bootloop it I will fix it through the serial port. I have downloaded the Update_jailbreak_hotfix_1.14_nomax_install file. I have also blocked ota updates and put it in airplane mode.

Refurbisher != Factory.
(If it was from the factory, it whouldn't need any refurbishment.)

It has a manufacturer Defect, it was a customer return or reject. It has imperfections in the Eink. It should have never left the factory, it could be one of the reasons it has build 3175970011. I have two PW3's, one for using and one to play with

My Kindle Paperwhite (DSN starting with G090 G105) just arrived, and I read this post before even turning it on. Added OTA blocker directory first thing.

Brand new device, not refurbished, bought from Amazon India and delivered to India.
Firmware it arrived with was 5.8.9.0.1 (3175970011) and is still on it because of the OTA update blocker.
I connected it to the internet and registered my account to confirm it does not have any ads/Special Offers.
No password protection or parental controls enabled.

Would really appreciate a link to the update_pw3_factory_5.8.9.0.1.bin file, as none of the chinese links seem to work for me.

Hi, My Kindle was jailbroken long time ago, I noticed it was not a really successful jailbreak (I have screensaver changed but I couldn't install any software nor do any special things), then I updated my device to 5.9.2 which running till now. Since then some of my books could not be opened (a white flash screen then back to Home). Today an idea came to mind I've done a factory reset my kindle and it worked, all the ebooks those I could not read can be opened especially .pdf files.

So my question is do I have any chances to rejailbreak my kindle so I can install some software? And how (if posible)?
