iLiad Xournal -notetaking, sketching, keeping a journal

The downloaded src of Xournal [user's manual] was sleeping on my HDD all the time.
So I gave it a try, checked whether it is compiling & running. Yes, it is running.

Uhh, it's like blind writing, there is a delay between movement of stylus and emerging of sketch.
Well, this is no wonder, because there is no iLiad specific code right now included.

Oooh, after searching MR: even Adam B. has compiled it in April 2007.

I gave up on Xournal. In order to work for note taking, we have to figure out how to write directly to the framebuffer like ipdf and the note application does. This is beyond my technical knowledge...
