Kobo Aura H20 2 frozen on sleep screen

My Kobo Aura H20 2 is frozen on the sleep screen.

Blue power light lights up when I press and hold power and sometimes the screen light comes up but can't get the thing to reset. Plugging it into my computer seems to make no difference.

There's also the screen fault you can see in the image.

Please does anyone have any suggestions?

You H2O2 is not frozen. The screen is broken. You can open the H2O2 and see what the model # is of the screen and try to buy a new screen and replace the screen. You can also try contacting Kobo and see what they may do for you.

Which will do you no good since this is considered user caused damage. It most often seems to occur due to twisting of the device, but can also be caused by direct impacts on the screen. Either way, your chances of getting warranty coverage are extremely remote.

Managed to get a complete refund, so all is good. Thanks for pitching in the advice. Now need to decide what model to replace it with.

Glad you managed to get a refund. Any dislikes or wishes you had from previous model? No other e-ink device is going to be much less susceptible to breakage.
