Lou Allin has two ebook collections - both of mystery series.

The Holly Martin Mysteries 3-Book Bundle includes And on the Surface Die, She Felt No Pain, and Twilight Is Not Good for Maidens. The ISBN for this one is: 9781459720374.

the Belle Palmer Mysteries 5-Book Bundle includes Northern Winters Are Murder, Blackflies Are Murder, Bush Poodles Are Murder, Murder Eh?, and Memories Are Murder. The ISBN is 9781459724068.

Both are couponable in Singapore, at least.

The Klondike Mysteries 4-Book Bundle contains all four (to date) of Vicki Delany's mysteries set in Yukon Territory gold rush days.

Quote:
SYNOPSIS

This quadruple edition of the entire Klondike Mystery series presents the complete stories of Vicki Delany's tenacious sleuth Fiona MacGillivray.

"This smart and funny sequel to Gold Fever takes us back to the bad old days of the Klondike Gold Rush. Delany has a dab hand with all the lore about life in the 19th century Klondike."
- The Globe and Mail

"... will leave readers prospecting for a sequel."
- Publishers Weekly

"Delany is a master at her craft ... rivets the reader until the last page."
- Mystery Scene Magazine

Includes:
Gold Digger
Gold Fever
Gold Mountain
Gold Web
ISBN is 9781459723863, and it seems to be widely couponable in various Kobo stores.

And, in a funny turn of events, the first in the series is free today in several Amazon/Kindle stores - see this post and the following post in another MR thread.

Charles Stross' Merchant Princes series available DRM-free in 3 omnibus editions -

Quote:
The six families of the Clan rule the kingdom of Gruinmarkt from behind the scenes, a mixture of nobility and criminal conspirators whose power to walk between their world and ours makes them rich in both. Miriam, a hip tech journalist from Boston, discovers her alternate world relatives with explosive results that shake three worlds. Now, as the prodigal Countess Helge Thorold-Hjorth, she finds herself ensnared in schemes and plots centuries in the making. She is surrounded by unlikely allies, lethal contraband, and, most dangerous of all, her family.

To avoid a slippery slope down to an unmarked grave, Miriam must build a power-base of her own-- with unexpected consequences for three different time-lines, including the quasi-Victorian one exploited by the hidden family.
The Bloodline Feud 9781466863934

The Traders' War 9781466863941

The Revolution Trade 9781466863965

Only 2 books per edition, but they are the author's preferred texts.

I'm not sure this really fits the original purpose of this thread, which was to share omnibuses or collections which would give big bang for the buck (or pound, or rupee) when using a Kobo coupon, and this one is only, as far as I can find, available on Amazon, so not couponable.

But then I thought, what the heck, it's inexpensive anyway, and so might as well share. So here goes:

The Big Easy Bonanza has three full length novels by Julie Smith (2) and Tony Dunbar (1) and a short story by Smith. It is currently $2.99 on Amazon US, but I've seen it as low as $0.99. Smith is an author who plays around with the pricing of her books on Amazon a lot - at one point there was even a thread in this forum just about the prices of her books. So, if you keep an eye out, you might find it cheaper at some point in the future.

Quote:
INTRODUCING THREE OF NEW ORLEANS' BEST-LOVED DETECTIVE SERIES...

Includes an Edgar-winner, an Edgar nominee, and a perennial Amazon best-seller. How can you go wrong?

STEP RIGHT UP AND meet NOPD Detective Skip Langdon; quasi-honest gourmet lawyer Tubby Dubonnet; and poet/computer nerd/PI Talba Wallis.

As a bonus (or lagniappe, as we say on Frenchmen Street) we have a hilarious short story starring glamorous drag queen detective Diva Delish.

And that’s what this package is: simply Delish!

HERE'S THE BREAKDOWN:

NEW ORLEANS MOURNING by Julie Smith -- The King of Carnival is shot off his throne during the fanciest parade of Mardi Gras, and, for reasons she'd rather forget about, rookie cop Skip Langdon is assigned to the case. Rich in New Orleans lore and characters. Won the Edgar for best novel.

CROOKED MAN by Tony Dunbar-- Lawyer Tubby Dubonnet's honesty is tested--and found wanting--when he finds a gym bag full of money. But how to keep it and stay alive? Tubby's Mr. New Orleans--laid back to a fault, yet everywhere at once. His riffs on New Orleans food will make you want to race right out and find the nearest oyster po' boy. Creole Foodie Noir. (But funny.)

LOUISIANA BIGSHOT by Julie Smith-- Odd couple PIs Talba Wallis and Eddie Valentino dodge bullets as they unravel a crime and cover-up so shocking it has an entire town clammed up. Half the fun is in Talba and Eddie's tentative relationship-- if this were a movie, they'd be Queen Latifah and Danny de Vito.

PRIVATE CHICK by Julie Smith-- this short story introduces drag queen detective (and mixologist) Diva Delish. In the Marigny, the most fun neighborhood in New Orleans, Diva rules. Really, her name says it all!

So...if you feel like a trip to New Orleans...

...complete with the requisite steamy romance, succulent food, colorful characters, and delicious danger, this is your digital ticket. Danger in the Big Easy comes in so many forms—you could meet a stranger and never want to go home again, or maybe the wrong guy in a dark alley; or discover a penchant for po’boys that puts ten pounds on before you’ve finished your Abita amber.

Every bit of that—and so much more!—is guaranteed to happen within these digital pages (except the unseemly weight gain).

"If you haven't discovered Smith yet, now is the time to do so . . . Move over, Sara Paretsky." —KPFA-FM (Berkeley, CA)

I don't seem to have mentioned the Eddie LaCrosse omnibus yet. Swords Are My Business collects the first four books in Alex Bledsoe's series, plus a preview of the fifth. It's a mashup of fantasy and private-eye noir that somehow strikes me as having kind of a Western feel.

If you can read French, there is an omnibus of 28 Nestor Burma mysteries by Leo Malet. The book is Tout Burma, l'intégrale des 28 romans, and it's published by Univers Poche. ISBN is 9782823806489.

It's available on Kobo US for the Prix Choc of $67.99. It doesn't seem to be couponable in the US, and I've been super busy and haven't had time to travel recently, so not sure about elsewhere.

Quote:
Synopsis

Retrouvez pour la première fois réunies en un seul volume, l'intégralité des aventures du célèbre détective créé par Léo Malet et incarné par Guy Marchand. Un événement !
A few of the Nestor Burma books were translated into English and published in the US as DTB many years ago. I read several at that time and liked them, although I'm a huge mystery lover and a huge Francophile, so I was predisposed to like them.

I'm currently slogging my way through book 6 of Harry Potter in French, trying to keep up my French (reading, at least). Once I get through with book 7 of Harry Potter, I may have to try this omnibus, although 28 novels in French would keep me busy pretty much forever.
