Calibre: edit metadata doesn't work
if I try to edit the metadata of a book in Calibre , the search doesn't work.
it keeps trying and trying but nothing happens. If I cancel and look at the log it says: " calibre, version 0.8.53. ERROR: Download failed: Failed to download metadata. Click Show Details to see details Traceback (most recent call last): File "site-packages/calibre/gui2/metadata/single_download.py", line 401, in run TypeError: 'NoneType' object is not iterable' this message I get with all boks I try. What can I do ? |

Make sure you dont have stale proxy settings in INternet explorer.

Well check for stale proxy setting wherever they are stored in OS X. You can see what proxy setting calibre is using, if any, via Preferences->Miscellaneous

Same problem for me, since some days (calibre 2.52) edit book doe'snt work; I use win 7 pro x64
|
