Winston Science Fiction

I am trying to find all of the Winston Science Fiction novels in ebook format for Kindle.

Anyone know which of them are available. I have

I remember these fondly from High School.

Those are the only two that Project Gutenberg did. It would be up to the authors or their estates to make the others available. I don't think any of them have.

Nice idea, Thunderchild.
Now, to make it even better, please can you show prices on your site, and add a link to other Amazon sites. Flagging up the books not yet available on the index page would be handy, too.
Thank you!

I'd never heard of Winston Science Fiction novels.... interesting...

Wonder why the Heinlein juveniles were not part of it...

Almost all the Heinlein Juveniles are available from Baen. The only one that's not is, I believe, the first one, "Rocket Ship Galileo".

Yes, but that's not what I was saying or asking. Apparently this series was triggered by the Heinlein Juveniles and were all published under the Winston imprint, but did not include any of the Heinlein's. I suppose it was a rights/publisher thing.

Oh, sorry for the misunderstanding. Yes, I'm sure it was a rights thing.

Having said, BTW, that "Rocket Ship Galileo" was the only Heinlein Juvenile not available as an eBook, I've looked on Amazon and discovered that it was released on 10th Dec, so my collection is now complete . This has been a worthwhile thread!

I have the 'boxed paperback set' of both the Heinlein and Asimov juveniles.

I should probably get the ebooks that are available...

Congrats on snagging that last one!

Just checked here and doesn't look like it has been released yet as an ebook in U.S.

The answer is that Heinlein had a publishing deal with Scribner's. Winston was done by a different publisher, based upon the success of the Heinlein Scribner's deal. (Heinlein was on a option contract, every accepted book gave Scribner's the option on his next juvenile book.)

Interestingly, it seems to have been published directly with Amazon by the Spectrum Literary Agency, Heinlein's literary estate managers. ie it's not going through a traditional publisher.

Spectrum is doing that a lot--ie back-list--with most of their clients. Link to their Authors pages.

Yes - thanks for that link - reading the list of authors & estates is breath-taking - a real walk down memory lane back to my days at the bookmobile reading my way through each author's works.
