PRS-505 Earlier versions of Sony Reader Library?

I foolishly clicked the "update" button on my library software earlier today and now it won't load at all! I get the dreaded "Reader Library has encountered a problem and needs to close" I tried uninstalling and reinstalling after a reboot, and still the same. I am running Windows xp pro sp3. Is there a source for the earlier versions of the library software? It was a bit of a pain, but at least I could use it. Thanks for any suggestions!

Have you tried adding it to the DEP exclusion list?

Have you tried the restore program included in XP. Restore your computer to the date before you installed the new version of the reader library. Also do you still have the CD that came with your 505 that would have the old version of the reader included.

That is too old. It doesn't handle ePub and won't talk to the eBookstore.
