Why is there no separate forum for Microsoft eReader?

There isn't enough activity to justify a separate forum.

It would be nice if there were prefixes in "Reading and Management" forum, i.e.
  • Sony Reader Library (SRL)
  • Adobe Digital Editions (ADE)
  • MS Reader
  • MobiPocket Reader
  • Stanza
I'm not sure if these are their exact names, plus a bunch of others that I can't think of at the moment.

*edit*

Most popular/appropriate software to add prefixes for could be selected from E-book software in MR wiki.

I misspoke somewhat. It's Microsoft Reader, a free download from Microsoft. The terminology is somewhat uncertain to me, but the Reader -which is an application with corresponding icon on Windows Desktop- has a corresponding download which adds an icon to Microsoft Word that converts text to .lit format; read by Reader.

Does the sense of this reply begin with 'Know that all reading software has been lumped...' or is the sense 'Not all reading software...'?

I think he meant to say:

No, all reading software has been lumped into the same spot "Reading and Management ".

Of course that's not 100% true because there is a forum for Calibre (which is management and reading software) for Sigil, which is actually ePub creation/editing software and Openinkpot which is open source firmware that runs on some a few models of dedicated readers.

For example, a lot of people use Adobe Digital Editions... but I think most people don't really use it to read or mange ebooks but just have it because you need it to purchase Adobe DRM protected ePub/PDF ebooks.

But we can certainly create sub-forums for various software if there is adequate audience and traffic.

As long as people get it wrong, that dead horse is not quite dead yet.
