Can anything cool be done via micro USB port? Connect to camera, iPod, etc?

Is there any way you could hook up an iPod or a flash card reader to the nook's micro USB port, to transfer photos or mp3's to the nook? Is the port basically only good for hooking up to a full-fledged computer and transferring files that way?

Thanks

If they ever get USB host support on the NC working, it could happen. It depends on the hardware if they can do this. I haven't seen a definitive yes or no on it yet at XDA.

Right now, no.

Yeah, I saw that earlier through Engadget. Pretty cool, but I didn't see much on just what was enabled for USB host. Is it pretty much all USB host functionality (low power)? Or is it limited? IE could you hookup a USB thumb drive to transfer photos? Or just a keyboard and possibly mouse?

As for a non-rooted nook ST, no you can't do anything over the USB port except charge it or transfer files from a computer to it.
