PRS-350 What is wrong with my screen (pic included)?

I finaly got a screen shoot. The reader now works fine, but the screen always looks like this even when it is off. I am thinking it must be a brooken screen, but wanted to check here first before calling sony warrenty to ask about repairing it. I have the extra accedent coverage so they should repair or replace it but I wanted to know what to tell them over the phone before I call.

The screen is broken. The glass substrate underneath broke. Do you by any chance have a cover for your Reader? Something put enough pressure on the screen to break it.

Thanks, I just sent it in to sony. I told them it was a brooken screen. They will either replace it or refund the purchase price. I am hoping for a refund but it depends if a new one is available. I am glad I bought the accedent insurance for this.
