And the madness continues. Kobo emailed me back again and said the correct promo is $60 for the bonus $10.

I let them know that's not what their promotional emails say...

I've just got my bonus gift card (third time this year). This year I've bought £180 of gift cards, spent £76.02, and I still have £133.98 in credit. That's a pretty good bonus, even if not as good as £10 for £50.

I got a $50 card couple of days ago, and just got my bonus $10 this morning.

Well, now they're just playing games with their false advertising. They asked for screenshots again of the differing banners. Like they can't click on their own website and see them???

Could be something like you should only be seeing one of those in your area and they want to confirm that you are seeing both?

I suppose so. This morning's email was the most bizarre. They asked me if I regularly check my spam folder. That's all it said.

I once had a Kobo customer support person advise me to use a Google search to find something on their website.

Amazon has a (rather unusual) promo on: buy a $50 Kobo gift card for $42.50. It seems to have worked -- I paid $42.50 and was able to redeem $50. And there does not seem to be a limit on the number of times you can do this.

I did finally purchase a $50 gift card. Received my bonus $10 this morning.

Heard back from Kobo again, all pleased with themselves that they added $10 in store credit to my account although my last email back to them was before I purchased the $50 gift card and I clearly told them I had not purchased a gift card.

So, I got $10 for all my trouble and I notice they took down the second banner that said $60 for $10 back.
