Twain, Mark: Sketches New and Old v1.1 22 September 2007
This is a general collection of his short stories, satire, and some stuff that I think he threw in just to see if anyone would read it.
I recommend you read "Disgraceful Persecution of a Boy" for more of his social commentary. Also, read "Petition Concerning Copyright". It's quite amusing. I just figured something out.
There are 3 options for the auto-generated TOC: short, full, all. Is the following true: Short skips some stuff. Full includes all "titles". All includes all "titles" and all "subtitles". If this is correct, then my problem was I was using the "short" setting. |

I am working my way through all my early conversions. The new copy is fully proofread to the best of my abilities. I also made some minor editorial decisions that improve the readability.
You really gotta read these stories. Mr. Twain has a truly twisted sense of humor that is wonderfully expressed by his mastery of the English langauge. |
