Aldiko -- page animation?

If page animation is checked in settings, there is no change whatsoever. Pages still swipe/scroll horizontally -- there is no page turn animation. Has anyone else experienced this?

Turn it off and see the difference. Without animation, the pages just change, with it they slide across the screen.

Oh, o.k. thank you. Works as advertised then. When I read the setting of "animated page turns" I took it literally.

I don't, I just tried it for the same reason the as the OP to see what would happen. Then I turned it back on.
